Today is a very special day for The Young and the Restless, as the CBS soap will celebrate a big milestone. In fact, viewers tuning in will get to watch it all go down when the 13,000th episode airs — and Abby and Devon’s wedding begins. As one can imagine, the cast is excited to be a part of it and one in particular went the extra mile to show how much she loves the soap that has been her home for the last 41 years.
Lauralee Bell (Christine) posted a video on Instagram today toasting the achievement with her castmates as Ray Elle’s “Gonna Be a Good Day” played in the background. Christian Le Blanc (Michael), Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren), Bryton James (Devon), Michael Mealor (Kyle), Peter Bergman (Jack), Michelle Stafford (Phyllis), Mark Grossman (Adam), Joshua Morrow (Nick) and more are seen from the press event then the toasting begins with Bell and Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki), Veronica Redd (Mamie), Susan Walters Ashby (Diane), Camryn Grimes (Mariah), Hayley Erin (Claire), Beth Maitland (Traci), Zuleyka Silver (Audra), Cait Fairbank (Tessa), Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea), Conner Floyd (Chance), Courtney Hope (Sally), Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe), Kate Linder (Esther) and Michael Graziadei (Daniel) lifting their glasses.

To close out the video, Bell can be seen high-fiving her brother, Brad Bell (Bold & Beautiful‘s executive producer and head writer), with Sharon Case (Sharon) raising her glass followed by a shot of the entire cast of the top-rated show together.
“It was such a fun-filled celebration for the cast and crew creating this episode of The Young and the Restless that I just knew I had to share it with the fans of the show who have kept us #1 for decades,” said Bell. “Everyone was in the mood to celebrate and when I held up a glass of champagne, I suddenly had a lot of volunteers to toast.” She went on to admit, “But then I had to break it to them that it was only sparkling apple cider because we were in the middle of a long day of taping and many had to go back to work right after I shot this,” and added, ”Cheers to the best cast and crew anywhere!”
And now we cheer you… the cast, the network and everyone behind the scenes who continue to bring Genoa City to our screens each day! We can’t wait to watch today’s episode and look forward to 13,000 more to come!
