General Hospital’s Kristina Wager (Felicia) and ex-husband Jack Wagner (ex-Frisco) experienced a parent’s worst nightmare when their son Harrison tragically died in June of 2022. Since then, they started the Harrison Wagner Scholarship Fund to honor their boy who passed away at only 27 years old. Though they will always carry him with them every day in their hearts, his mom has done something very special to pay tribute to her youngest.
The ABC soap actress shared a beautiful photo that featured the right half of her face and arm, which was placed above her head. Her inner bicep now showcases a delicate tattoo, which appears to have been taken from a message given to her by her son. Though most of the first part is covered by her hair, “Love, Harrison” is clearly visible in the pic.
“When you’re afraid, you close yourself off. When you open your heart and mind, what comes back from the universe is pure love and joy, and you begin to understand that your loved ones are still with you,” Wagner shared. “There is no blame, fault, anger, or guilt— just unconditional love that gives you the freedom to go on. His signature is on my flesh until I die. And when I die, I’ll get that hug. But I can wait.”
Her castmate, Finola Hughes (Anna), commented under the post, “Kristina, you are the biggest, baddest warrior, moving through it all with grace. I stand in awe of your journey,” as The Young and the Restless’ Michelle Stafford (Phyllis) added, “You are beautiful.”

Taking the words from a loved one and tattooing them on you forever is one of the most comforting things someone living with grief can do. The pain of their loss never goes away and we learn to carry the grief with us daily but being able to see their words on our skin can bring a little light into the never-ending darkness.
And we are so happy that she shared this beautiful tattoo for everyone to see… It is sure to give others the strength to get their own and for those of us who already wear one like hers, well, it brings a smile to our face, knowing that she too has found some comfort during this devastating journey.
