Over the weekend, many of soaps’ talented ladies gathered to celebrate their Daytime Emmy nominations. Hosted by The Bold and the Beautiful’s Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy), who took home last year’s golden statuette for Outstanding Lead Actress, stars from all four shows attended the 2024 luncheon at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills.

Wood’s castmate, Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke) shared various pics from the event and stated, “Daytime Emmy nominated actresses luncheon. Thank you Jacqueline MacInnes Wood for hosting such a beautiful lunch. It was a special day celebrating with all these amazing women!”

The Young and the Restless’ Courtney Hope (Sally) also shared a group shot and expressed, “To be alongside these beautiful powerhouse women is an honor! What a wonderfully fun Emmy nominee brunch! Thank you Jacqueline MacInnes Wood for including us all!”

In past years, the lead actress nominees attended the luncheon but from the photos, as well as Hope’s added “thanks,” we can see ladies from other categories were invited too. Along with Lang were Annika Noelle (Hope), Days of Our Lives’ Tamara Braun (Ava), General Hospital’s Finola Hughes (Anna) and Young & Restless’ Michelle Stafford (Phyllis), who are all nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress.

In a recent interview, Braun talked about some of her daytime peers and shared with Soaps.com, “I’ve worked with Michelle, I worked with Finola. I didn’t really work with Cynthia. Our paths didn’t really cross as characters. She’s such a lovely human being and a beautiful actress… And then I know Annika through Instagram and then we ended up meeting each other at a charity event we went to and we were so excited because we kept saying we should get together, we should get together, we should get together and then fate brought us together, so I’m thrilled for her.” She also looked forward to meeting Lang and added,” I’m really happy for all of us.”

And joining Hope were Bold & Beautiful’s Jennifer Gareis (Donna), Days of Our Lives’ Emily O’Brien (Gwen) and Young & Restless’ Allison Lanier (Summer) as nominees for Outstanding Supporting Actress. Plus, the Bold & Beautiful gals were reunited with their former castmate Alley Mills (ex-Pam), who is nominated in the Outstanding Guest Performer category for her role as Heather on General Hospital.

It was nice seeing all of the ladies together and we can’t wait to watch who brings home the awards this year! Be sure to tune in or DVR the ceremony date as not to miss.
