Life has been full of excitement for General Hospital’s Steve Burton (Jason) and last week, the ABC soap actor shared a glimpse into what has brought him “so much joy and happiness.” On May 17, Burton married his fiancée Michelle Lundstrom in front of family and later celebrated with a small group of friends added to the mix, including his castmate Jonathan Jackson (Lucky), who had been part of the wedding party.
“Our wedding day was a sacred celebration of love and God’s perfect timing,” Burton expressed while posting a video of the event. “We’re sharing a glimpse into our beautiful day filled with so much joy and happiness.” The couple chose the song, “Fall Into Me” by Forest Blakk, that fit “perfectly” with their “love and journey.”
Lundstrom opened up about her relationship with Burton before the couple set off on a honeymoon and his beautiful bride later posted a video to showcase their “magical” Maui trip. “Our honeymoon was an absolute dream,” she stated then went on to thank the Montage Kapalua Bay, to which she deemed the hotel and resort “pure paradise.”
The video gave followers a peek into their suite, along with a shot of the towel origami and red rose petals on the bed. We got to see them taking a dip or two, touring the breathtaking grounds and how about that underwater shot?! From the looks of things, their honeymoon couldn’t have been better. Burton’s co-star, Laura Wright (Carly) hit the mark by commenting, “So beautiful.”
