In the beginning of the month, we brought readers news surrounding this year’s Nurses Ball on General Hospital. Lynn Herring, in full character mode as host Lucy, revealed that the annual event would kick off on Tuesday, May 20, and promised, “I have some big plans for some people you’re not usually going to see up there performing.” And while we wait to hear which of your favorite characters will take the stage — and which unexpected ones will as well — our sister site, Deadline, has learned exclusively who will be making a special appearance.
Artist YDE, Breanna Yde, will hit Port Charles as a special guest for the ball. So, when can viewers be ready for YDE’s big introduction? Lucy will welcome the singer to the stage on Thursday, May 22, and like other balls before, there will be a red-carpet show — this time, hosted by Port Charles’ very own Drew and Nina.
For those not familiar with YDE, the actress-turned-singer can be recognized for roles on such series as School of Rock, where she was nominated for a Kid’s Choice Award, Malibu Rescue and voiced Ronnie on The Loud House for two years. She also turned up on How I Met Your Mother and Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn, as well as movies such as Nickelodeon’s Sizzling Summer Camp Special, Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library and Santa Hunters to name a few. As for her music, the talented star released her first singles “Stopped Buying Diamonds” and “BlindLife” in 2020 and in 2022, she released her first EP, Send Help.
