Steffy was plunged back into hell on The Bold and the Beautiful when she received the shocking news that Sheila was back from the dead — or more to the point, hadn’t died at all. Nope, the woman Steffy stabbed to death that terrifying night hadn’t been Sheila but rather her imposter, Sugar. Deacon — and even Finn — may be “relieved,” but Steffy refuses to jump onto the welcome-back bandwagon, and while her life may be in shambles yet again, her portrayer, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, recently gave fans a glimpse into how she’s coping these days…
The CBS soap star posted a series of photos that were simply captioned, “Lately.” The first presented a view from what appears to be outside Wood’s kitchen window, as the next few consisted of shots of her kids. There was a pic of one of her boys standing outside beneath a frog umbrella while wearing the cutest little yellow boots. Another had one of her son’s helping to make a tasty treat, as well as a pic of two of the boys climbing up a fallen tree.

The rest included a snap of their meals, adorable pics of the family’s pups and one of Rise, Lenix, Brando and Valor all snuggled on a blanket. And last, but not least, the photo dump ended with a pic of Wood getting glammed up at the studios.
And a few days later, she shared a few shots of her husband Elan Ruspoli and one of their sons plotting their next move, as they played chess together, which is “one of the things” they do as a family once a week.
“I love watching my son and my husband play it together,” Wood stated. “I’m currently learning too. No screens, just good ole quality family time.”
So, the moral of the story is… Though Steffy may be about to embark on another emotional nightmare, Wood is having the time of her life with her family — and we loved getting a peek into some of the sweet memories that the actress captured.
