General Hospital’s Cyrus may be walking around Port Charles free these days but it wasn’t too long ago when he was laid up in the emergency room following a beat down from Sonny. Well fans, if you can’t get enough of Jeff Kober, he is about to embark on another role that will land his new character in the E.R.
New photos reveal that the ABC soap actor is going to be guest-starring in the Wednesday, May 22, airing of NBC’s Chicago Med. In the Season 9 finale episode titled “I Think I Know You, But Do I Really?” Kober will appear as Doug Green, who is pictured handcuffed to a hospital bed and is described as a high-risk prisoner who may have dementia. And while Ripley and Charles attempt to treat Doug, Archer and Sean clash after a resident from Margo’s facility lands in the E.D. — plus, Crockett is stunned by the news he receives.
Kober is no stranger to primetime and has numerous credits on his resume. However, this is the first time he’s appeared on any of the Chicago shows and we’re looking forward to seeing how he incorporates his latest character into the mix at the Gaffney Chicago Medical Center. And if you’re wondering whether or not the NBC medical drama will return for Season 10, you’re in luck because the series was renewed for another season back in March.
