The latest California fires have taken a toll on many in and around the Los Angeles area and last week, General Hospital’s Cameron Mathison (Drew) let fans know that he was safe but had lost his home. The ABC soap actor had shared a video of the remains of what had been left after the fire had raged through the neighborhood and has since posted another video to show the heartbreaking results of the damage caused.
“Having trouble sleeping these days so scrolling through some of the photos of before and after,” he began then went on to say that the first two videos were about a week apart. “My heart goes out to the thousands of families whose home and lifetime of memories have also been destroyed.”

Mathison shared 19 slides, which included before and after videos and photos of various areas of his family’s home. Both inside and outside, what was once an absolutely beautiful safe haven, had been ravaged by the fire — and some of the photos were extra heartbreaking, like the one of Mathison and his daughter Leila by the pool and especially the very last one, where one gate to the property was open as family members sat at the curbside.
