Holidays are for getting together with family and friends and for giving thanks to those in our lives. While some people have their children nearby all of the time, others don’t, so when they come home for a visit, it makes things extra special. Days of Our Lives’ Alison Sweeney (Sami) knows a little bit about that feeling and took to social media to share her excitement…
“We are so excited to welcome Ben home from university for Thanksgiving,” Sweeney shared, along with a photo of her son. “We are all in on holiday spirit! We stayed up late last night hearing all about school life. As an aside, he’s adopted the phrase ‘y’all’ quite quickly.”
Back in August, Sweeney posted another photo to announce that she and her husband Dave Sanov had helped their boy move into his new digs at one of Texas’ top colleges, Baylor University. “It’s move in day!” she cheered. “We are so excited to celebrate this new chapter for Ben.”

And prior to that, in May, the couple celebrated Ben’s graduation from high school and shared photos, including one with his younger sister Megan. “We are so proud of Ben,” Sweeney stated. “What a big night cheering on Ben as he graduates high school! Oh the places you’ll go.”
We have no doubt that Ben will do good things in the world but for now, we hope he and his family have a wonderful Thanksgiving — and we wish the same for you, our loyal readers!
