General Hospital is no stranger to bringing in the kids of some of their biggest stars… Maurice Benard’s (Sonny) son Joshua played a younger version of his dad’s character in 2018 then went on to appear in the role of Adam on and off for two years. And in May of 2023, Genie Francis’ daughter Eliza Frakes had a cameo during some of the Home & Heart segments. Well viewers, we’re about to see the daughter of another big soap vet turn up in Port Charles…
Longtime Days of Our Lives actor Bryan Dattilo, who has played Lucas Horton for over 30 years, posted a photo on social media of his 10-year-old daughter Delila posing outside of the ABC soap’s studio and revealed, “A Dattilo was spotted in Port Charles. Finally a real soap star in the family.”

Many speculated on whether or not one of the show’s current characters was going to be SORASed but Soap Opera Digest has learned that Delila will appear in a dayplayer role during the holidays set in the annual scenes at the Rice Plaza. In a past interview with the outlet, Dattilo mentioned how much he’d like to see his little girl turn up on Days of Our Lives one day but even though she’ll be heading to ABC to make her soap debut, his Instagram post reveals just how proud he is of her all the same.
