Back in the day, One Life to Live viewers watched Eddie Alderson grow up before our eyes in Llanview as Matthew Buchanan but the former daytime actor isn’t so little anymore… In fact, he’s married, and his proud sister Kristen (Starr; General Hospital’s ex-Kiki) posted a video and tons of photos from the special event where he made Sylwia Pracon his wife over the past weekend.
“The most magical wedding there ever was,” Kristen shared. “My little brother is married!” She talked about what an honor it was to be Sylwia’s Maid of Honor alongside the bride’s sister. “Eddie was happiest groom I’ve ever seen, and I know he’ll be the best husband ever,” she added. “Everyone was beaming with excitement the whole day!”

Even though everyone was celebrating the groom and bride, something else had taken place during the festivities… a One Life to Live reunion. “Not only was our wonderful blood family there but our One Life to Live family as well! Oh man, I hadn’t seen Kassie [DePaiva, Blair] and Bob [Woods, Bo] in such a long time, I cried when I saw them!”
And if you follow Kristen on social media, you know she and Brittany Underwood (Langston) and Nic Robuck (James) are best friends and they “flew in to be there” too. “My heart was just bursting all night…Wishing Eddie and Sylly the most blessed and happy marriage! Love you both so much,” she expressed, to which Eddie replied, “Best day ever! Thank you so much for being the best big sister ever.”
In the post, Kristen gave everyone an inside glimpse of everything from their ride on Pennsylvania’s Blue Bell Trolley, to beautiful pics of the bride and groom, their family and friends and, of course, sweet shots with their daytime pals.
Alderson and Pracon started dating in August 2016 and were engaged in May 2022.
We send the couple our biggest congrats and hope they have a lifetime full of happiness!
