Some of the best soap scenes are filmed on location and General Hospital viewers are going to see one said scene very soon. No, it won’t be shot from some tropical island or for a woodsy weekend getaway, but as Steve Burton previewed, it’ll be “on location, outside our studio” nonetheless.
The ABC soap star posted a photo standing next to Maurice Benard from outside the studio and shared, “Did a quick car scene. Good to be back working with this dude. Sonny and Jason back at it.”
Their castmate Lydia Look (Selina) jumped into the comments to express how much she loved seeing them together and fans did as well!
As we all know, this isn’t the first time Burton and Benard have shot scenes where their characters were conversing in a car. In fact, back in February Burton reflected on his all-time favorite Jason scene that took place in the back of a limo and stated, “It was a six-minute scene… It looked like a movie.”
No matter where they film, scenes between Jason and Sonny are always filled with soapy goodness. So, what do they have in store for viewers this time? Well, you’re going to have to wait along with us to see.
And while some may not consider Burton and Benard’s upcoming scene to be truly on location, there have been many more throughout the years that definitely were, which can be viewed by opening up our gallery below featuring soaps’ greatest location shoots of all time.
