The time has come… Jonathan Jackson has finally arrived at the General Hospital studio to tape scenes for his big daytime comeback as Lucky. In case you hadn’t heard and are asking yourself, “What? He’s coming back? When did this happened?” The announcement was first made back in June and his fans have been so excited (yes, sooo excited!) ever since.
The ABC soap took to its social media platforms and posted a photo of Jackson in the studio, standing in front of a Luke and Laura poster, as he stared into the camera. “We are so very lucky (see what we did there) to have Jonathan Jackson back in the building,” they stated then went on to tease, “And you won’t have to wait long to see what he has in store for Port Charles.”
Also back in June, Jackson met up with his castmates, Steve Burton (Jason) and Bradford Anderson (Spinelli), to talk about his huge return and credited Genie Francis (Laura) for playing a big part in him being able to reprise the role of Lucky — a role he first stepped into back in October of 1993 and appeared on and off until December of 2011. And though details surrounding Lucky’s homecoming are being kept under wraps, Jackson also told Burton and Anderson something that will be music to Lucky fans’ ears.
Prior to that, he posted a video on his own social media and stated, “Excited for the journey to continue…”
