It would appear that General Hospital’s Kirsten Storms has been quite busy as of late. Not only has she been working at the ABC Studios to bring Maxie to life each day but the actress just moved with her daughter Harper — and that’s not all… She’s been really taking advantage of her new kitchen and testing out all kinds of new recipes.
Storms posted four photos of her latest creations and boy do they look yummy!
“I just moved and it’s become kinda clear that I love my new kitchen,” she stated then went on to say how she hasn’t been able to stop making southern food for Harper. “She’s digging it and the smells remind me of my childhood.”

One of the dishes that she’s getting good at is the chicken pot pie, as featured in the first pic. “This version was definitely the best so far.” Next up, for dessert, which Storms noted, “I only ever make when I have Harper, because… well, she’s 10,” consisted of baked peaches with pecan ice cream and homemade whipped cream. “It’s incredible and also really good on coffee in the morning.”
However, the big hit with Harper, who she shares with Days of Our Lives’ Brandon Barash (Stefan), were the pink waffles and “surprisingly so was the red beans and rice,” served with cornbread, that she whipped up.
One would think kids wouldn’t care for beans and rice but Storms added, “Thankful to have been blessed with a child who’s willing to try new foods.”
We look forward to seeing more of Storms’ creations and hey, maybe she’ll give us some ideas to cook up for our own families!
And while the actress is clearly cooking for fun, and of course, for Harper, other soap stars have engaged in a side job or two over the years, which can be viewed in our photo gallery below.
