General Hospital has had a few spinoffs in its day, including Port Charles and Night Shift, and now it would seem that one of its actors is starring in the ABC soap’s next series. Well, not really, but Evan Hofer had some fun while on a trip to The Big Apple.
The ABC soap actor posed shirtless in front of a mirror and simply captioned the photo, “Dex and the City.” His reference to the popular HBO series Sex and the City led his former castmate, Nicholas Alexander Chavez (ex-Spencer) to reply, “Caption game impeccable,” and Cameron Mathison (Drew) agreed, “Yep.”

Hofer’s post featured various pics from a recent trip to New York City including ones from The Secret World of Elephants exhibit at the American Museum of Natural History, The Gilder Center, the Hudson River, the Grand Central Terminal, Washington Square and a Wilsons Store, where he shot a video of himself shooting hoops.
One fan, Louise Wojciechowski, noted that she works in the building next to the Grand Central Terminal and stated, “Would have loved to have bumped into you. Love you on General Hospital!”
Back to Hofer’s first photo, another fan, Jeanette, commented, “If there was a show called Dex and the City, I’d be watching every episode,” as Caitlin Carmichael added, “I feel like you’re more of a Charlotte,” referring to Kristin Davis’ character.
While we’d love to watch the drama unfold in Dex and the City, we’ll have to settle for the goings-on in Port Charles — for now, anyway!
