Tomorrow is the big day for the world of soaps, as The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announces this year’s 51st Annual Daytime Emmy Award nominations. However, several of the major categories were released a day early… which means we now know who from The Bold and the Beautiful, General Hospital, Days of Our Lives and The Young and the Restless will be competing in the Lead Actor and Lead Actress categories when the statues are handed out on Friday, June 7. In addition, we know that all four shows were handed Outstanding Drama nominations… as was Popstar!’s The Bay and Amazon’s resurrection of the Australian soap, Neighbours!
